PTFA

The Carbeile Junior School Parent, Teachers & Friends Association (PTFA) consists of an enthusiastic group of parents who coordinate a range of fund raising activities throughout the year. Fund raising helps to improve the school environment, pays for extra resources for the school and groups of children and generally enhances the learning experience for everyone. Activities include; discos, film nights, quiz nights, summer fayres, Christmas fayres and sports day.

All parents are automatically members of the PTFA, although there is an annual election of officers. Meetings generally take place every half term. No one is expected to attend every meeting or event, any time that can be offered is very much appreciated. The PTFA keep in touch via newsletters, their Facebook page, the school website and noticeboards.

To date the PTFA at Carbeile have raised thousands of pounds for the benefit of the children, buying such things as the Year 5 and 6 play equipment, the school pond, the petal shelter and even this website!
