Carbeile Junior School

Golden Nuggets

Have a read of some of these wonderful comments about Carbeile Junior School.  They have been made by a variety of supply teachers, external consultants, visitors, MPs, parents and, most importantly, the children.  They just go to demonstrate how happy our children are, how well they are learning and what a positive opinion about the school all stakeholders have.

GOLDEN NUGGETS

We were absolutely blown away with your wonderful school. We deliver the programme to many schools in Cornwall however your school stood out for all the right reasons. The children’s behaviour across all classes was exemplary. The atmosphere and welcome we received was warm and inviting and it is clear to see the children love attending your school. The pupils in year 5/6 were very engaged and mature whilst learning in the workshop. Keep doing what you are doing as it’s so clearly working!

Just a note to say thank you for helping shape ***** into the boy, who is confident enough in his own self to walk to school in a dress – because in his words – we’re all the same underneath our clothes, why does what we wear change that?

Thank you! And all your wonderful staff.

Thank you so much for allowing me to speak to the pupils.  Their questions were all very interesting and I am sorry I could not take them all in the time I had available.  Please also pass on my thanks to the other staff and pupils.  I was very impressed by how well behaved the children were.

I would like to thank you for the wonderful job you and your team are doing every day.  It is lovely to see you on the gate every afternoon, a familiar face in the playground.  My daughters Jessica and Millie love this school.  They both love the outside learning that is incorporated whenever the weather supports it.  Not to forget the marvellous school dinners, every day the girls have enjoyed a different but very tasty lunch.  A big thank you and well done, I am so glad we moved here.  I hope all of the team are proud of the work they do every day.

I feel I have to express my gratitude to Mrs Seymour.  Since my daughter heard that she had been placed in her class she has been ecstatic.  Lili constantly sings the praises of Mrs Seymour, she inspires Lili to work hard and learn through enjoyment and passion!  I have seen many changes at Carbeile since you became Headteacher, all for the better.  I am very proud to send both my children to what I can see is now an up and coming school.

My children’s education, safety, security and above all happiness is clearly of paramount importance to you and your staff.  I would like to thank you all for working so hard to ensure that they are receiving the best education in a fantastic, motivational, happy environment.

Best wishes and thank you again.

A huge thank you for inviting me into your school.  The NSPCC really value the support the school has given.  Thank you to all of the staff for your support and for making Buddy and me so welcome, and huge great thank you to all the children who were all such good listeners!  I am so pleased they enjoyed Buddy’s Big Workout and they did really well raising £2,404.91.

It has genuinely been a real pleasure.
